Hi I'm Mikel Borst

I was born in California, but moved to Utah. I love sports. I am called to serve as a missionary in Lima, Peru. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports even so that I played soccer my first year of college. I love movies and tv shows; comedy being my favorite genre. I can't go a day without listening to music; indie, classic rock, pop, opera, I love almost all music. I more than anything love spending time with my family and friends. I grew up in the church; my dad a member and my mom a convert before I was born. I love the gospel and know it to be true. I plan to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has brought nothing but happiness to my life and those close to me. Never have I felt more happy and at peace than when I am following the commandments and words of God. I feel my Heavenly Father's and Savior's love for me each and everyday, even when I feel undeserving of it. Being a member of this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has not only blessed my life, but has allowed me to bless others. My testimony of the gospel and the church grows as I witness miracles big and small around me. I know all the joy I've felt up to this point in life has been a result of living the gospel. In my heart and in my soul I know this church to be true. Having this knowledge gives me peace of mind, and the strength to push forward in this life.

How I live my faith

I have had various calling in my ward each designed to help the young men in my quorum (group). Outside of the church building itself I live my faith by being a good example and helping others.
