Hi I'm Blake

I've lived my whole life in Utah. I love the gospel and the joy it brings into my life and the blessings that it bestows upon me.

About Me

I love all manner of sports. Golf and baseball are my personal favorites. I played both sports in High School. I also entertain myself by playing the guitar, which I have learned for almost 6 years from my grandfather who is a very talented musician and qualified guitar teacher. I've lived in Utah my whole life, which I have very much enjoyed the wonderful scenery and generous people here. I have made many good friends here and am thankful for that. I am the oldest of 4 boys in my family of 6. My 3 younger brothers are a very rambunctious few, but I love them nonetheless. I've grown up in the church my whole life and have learned to live it and love it. I am also very excited to be serving a 2 year full-time mission for this wonderful church. I report to the Mexico MTC at the end of 2017 July and then I am off to the Ecuador Quito North Mission soon after. This gospel has surrounded me as I've grown up and there is nothing in this whole world that is better than that amazing example.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply put, I am a Mormon because I have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Because I have that faith, I know that this gospel is put in place in order for me to get back to living with Him. He is all-knowing and because of that, I can trust and confide in Him one-hundred percent to help me through any trial that I am going through. This life is difficult and I know that if we rely on the Lord and keep the Spirit with us at all times, we will be infinitely blessed and feel the love that He has for every one of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church each Sunday, reading my scriptures, and saying my daily prayers. I also strive to keep all the commandments and follow Church guidelines. This may seem limiting to some, but the rules set and the way I have conducted my life has allowed me to stay on the straight and narrow path and for my life to be on its' way to its' true potential.
