Hi I'm Carley

I grew up in a small town in Murrieta, California. I went to play lacrosse in college. I am Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the church since my parents are both Mormon. I grew up playing soccer, but recently quit to play lacrosse, and even pursued to play it in a nonreligious school. I have always loved to play the piano and sing, and always lend out a hand to those in need. I love spending time with those who are important to me, and always being involved in spontaneous adventures.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born and raised in the church, where I was lead by example the righteous way to live. I always felt that I kept myself close to the Lord, and to follow the path that he wanted me to go. In high school, I did face many trials and tribulations that pulled against my faith and made it hard to stay true to the gospel. But I began to draw myself closer to the Lord. I turned to Him when I felt completely lost and helpless, and he was there to pick me off my feet, and carry me through my hard times. That's when I began to know that this gospel is true. As I went to a school where I was the only Mormon, may have been difficult at times, but it also strengthened my testimony to stand true to my beliefs and where I want to end up after this life. This gospel has taught me that even though the people in it aren't perfect, the gospel itself is perfect. Without this gospel, I know I wouldn't be happy, or even have been successful in what I have done. This gospel has shaped me to become something greater than I could do on my own, and that's why I know I need to be Mormon.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings as regularly as possible. While I went to college, I was called to be a teacher for the young kids, and it was an experience that I wouldn't change. Kids truly have a special heart and connection with the Lord that inspired me to be more like them. I am currently a teacher for young kids back in my current ward, and I am so glad. It makes me excited to want to have my own family one day. I have recently been reading my scriptures daily, and it has brought more peace to my heart and drawn me closer to the Lord. Others have even noticed that I seen happier or look better, when the only change, has been reading my scriptures daily.
