Hi I'm Caitlyn

I grew up in a little town in Wyoming. I have two brothers and one sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love sports. I did cross country, basketball, and indoor and outdoor track and field in high school. I love to go hiking and enjoy everything that nature has to offer. I also really enjoy reading any type of book, as long as it interests me. I love spending time with friends and family and meeting new people. After I serve my mission, I plan on going to college to become an athletic trainer.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a little girl, my mom got baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so, I was raised in the gospel. I have chosen to continue to follow this gospel because everything this gospel entails is simply amazing. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know who I am and they love me and they always will. They are the greatest comforters and really listen to everything I have to say and I have received answers to prayers so many times. The atonement has been a huge part of my life, and I have been blessed immensely because of it. Jesus Christ died for all of us, for all of our sins, so that we can be resurrected and live with Him again. There is no greater comfort to me than to know that Jesus Christ has felt every pain and sorrow we have and will experience in this lifetime. I know He will help me through and trial I face, and He will rejoice with me when I am happy. I am thankful that families can be together forever, that I can be with my family after death. I am thankful for temples and the ordinances that go on inside, they truly are an escape from the world. I am thankful for the scriptures and the words of the prophets and apostles, to give us guidance in our everyday lives. The Book of Mormon is true and brings so much peace and joy into my life. There is no better way to know Christ than to read this book. Mostly I am thankful for this gospel, without it I would not be half the person I am today. This gospel has changed my life and I know with my entire heart that it is true.

How I live my faith

I have had several callings in Young Womens throughout my time in the church. I have helped teach the youth in my ward and have given a handful of talks. I have had a calling in nursery, where I help out with the little kids in the ward.
