Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm a Texan, a dessert lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a born-and-raised Texan who loves country dancing, sappy movies, and any dessert with strawberries in it! I also enjoy nature walks, visiting with the elderly, and I am currently working towards my Bachelor's degree. I love to learn!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel that this church, this Gospel, is where Heavenly Father wants me to be. I grew up in the church but most of my family fell away from the faith for one reason or another. But things were different for me. Ever since I can remember, I always knew that this church was where I was meant to be. I could always just feel it in my very bones that all of the doctrines of this Gospel, this church, were true. I know that all that is good comes from God. I know this church is of God. I can feel His Spirit more strongly within this church than anywhere else. It is through the things taught in this restored church that I have come to know the following things: that I am a child of a loving and merciful Heavenly Father, that He designed a plan for us to come down to earth and have our obedience to Him tested, and that He sent His Son, our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, so that all wrongs, sorrows, mistakes, and shortcomings can be repaired through the healing power of His infinite Atonement. I know that Heavenly Father knows each one of His children by name and knows each of us personally. I know that if we love Him we will strive to keep His commandments, and that we will be blessed when we try to follow the example of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving other members of my congregations, as well as anyone in my communities that I see may need a kind word, a small gesture of love, or a listening ear.
