Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in a ski town. I will soon be a full time missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love and enjoy music, playing the guitar, and singing. I savor any minute in the outdoors including, mountain biking, skiing, hiking and tubing. I am currently preparing to serve a mission in Virginia. But, most of all I thrive learning and seeking more knowledge about Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me that what I’m doing is right and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. This religion to me is more than a Sunday church hour, it has changed my life! It has given me the answer to some of the most personal questions like: where I’m from, where I’m going, and what my purpose is. And this is why I’m a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I enjoy helping other with disabilities and am currently able to do this as my job. I love helping these people not only because they are amazing and kind, but one of my favorite characteristics is that they are non-judgmental, and open minded. Most of the time I find myself learning so much more from them.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

We believe that baptism is a key ordinance/commandment that must be done in order for us to be saved and have eternal life with him. Thus because it's so essential we want everyone to have the ability to inherit these blessings. This is why we do it in proxy/in behalf of those who didn't have the opportunity to have it done when they were here on earth. For example, those who may have not heard about our gospel or those who died before being able to be baptized will have the ability to chose to accept the ordinance that we did for them.
