Hi I'm Abigail

I grew up playing softball, basketball and running. I love spending time with my brothers and sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have finished three semesters of college at BYU Hawaii, where I played softball for the University. I have an older sister and two little brothers. I love to play the piano, play catch with my dad, go shopping with my mom, shoot hoops with my littlest brother, and go on runs with my other brother.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it has helped me discover who I truly am. Because of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have come to know my Savior and understand the purpose of why I am here on this earth. I have felt and seen the love Heavenly Father has for me and for each of His children. Being a Mormon has helped me keep my standards high even in difficult situations, which has brought me more happiness than I could have otherwise had. Because of the gospel, I can be with my family for eternity. This knowledge has helped my family unit to grow strong, and has brought so much love and peace in our home. His gospel has brought me hope in discouraging times, strength to persevere painful experiences, and power to overcome temptation. His gospel has given me second chances and opportunities to become better than I was yesterday. With the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that my Heavenly Father has a plan for me, and that my potential is great.

How I live my faith

In my ward while attending BYU Hawaii, I prepared and taught gospel lessons for the women my age. I was also the ward pianist and would play hymns for our church meetings. I love teaching lessons and being around the youth that I grew up with in my home ward. I love spending time with my family going on hikes, and reading the scriptures together. I have also recently been called to serve an 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Peru.
