Hi I'm Nikki Memmott

I've spent most of my life in a small town. I love to help people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I finished high school in 2015. I'm not a mom, but I was close enough to a mom to 2 little boys after their wonderful mother passed away from cancer. I was living with my aunt and uncle at the time, trying to find a job, but nothing was working for me. And then my aunts health took a nose dive, so on New Years Day of 2017, she left this world. I was devastated. I was worried for her family, mostly her little boys. But I had to opportunity to live with them for the next 6 months and help my uncle take care of his boys. I grew such a strong bond with those little boys. I am sad to no longer have my aunt here, but I take great comfort in knowing that one day I can and will see her again. All because my Savior Jesus Christ died for me and everyone else in this world, Past, Present, and Future. Anyway, I have 6 siblings, Maxx (married to Heather), Brandon, Abigail, Samuel, Jake and Kenlee. I also have a niece and nephew. I love to draw, and bake, and read. They all help me relax when I'm feeling stressed, or upset. My best friends are my parents. They have always been there for me, helping me and giving me what I would consider the ultimate love a parent can give thier child. I am so grateful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since I was born. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I have continued to be a member because I know that this is the true church. I have gained a testimony through the many wonderful experiences I have had with feeling the spirit, to seeing others feel the spirit. I have seen and felt things through my life that have confirmed in my heart that being part of this church is where I need to be. I have had my parents testimony to go off of as well. And I have been able to gain my own testimony because those around me have had such great ones. It's probably not the best explanation, but that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I haven't really had very many callings, and in all honesty, the ones I did have were very simple so I didn't do very much. But I do attend my church meetings every week. I always try my best to pay tithing when I have the funds to do so. The sacrament is very important to me. I have made some choices in my life that are not the greatest, but I know that my savior Jesus Christ suffered for me so that I might be forgiven when I do wrong. So when I take the sacrament, it's like cleaning myself for the week. I can start fresh, and I remember from taking the sacrament that I am putting an effort to be more like my Savior. I read the scriptures as often as I can as well so that I may know the teachings which my Father in Heaven would have me know. They bring me such a comfort, and I feel overjoyed when I can share those teachings with those around me.
