Hi I'm James Szoke

I grew up in Utah valley, I love to swim and draw and I'm headed out on a mission next month. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to swim. I swam competitively throughout high school and worked as a swim teacher and swim coach. I've drawn all my life and especially love drawing superheroes. I'm headed to college after my mission to study aerospace engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I really believe this church is true. It took me a little while to really learn that but I finally can say that I know this is the right way. I know that there is a God in heaven. He is my Heavenly Father and loves me perfectly. Too many of my experiences just wouldn't make any sense if this wasn't truth. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. The only begotten of the Father. He has and continues to save me. I am a Mormon to honor this knowledge and follow my Father's plan for me: to be like His son. To be like Him. And I believe that this church is the way to follow Christ.

How I live my faith

I've served in several responsibilities in the church starting when I was thirteen and called to lead the deacons (the group of 12-13 year old boys) in my congregation. I served as presidents of these groups all the way until I was seventeen. I was also called to help out with our local Special Needs Activity Program and spent many a Thursday night having fun with the best people on Earth.
