Hi I'm Zach

I grew up in New Market, Maryland. I wrestled in high school and was a state runner up. I want to teach Special Ed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the younger of two brothers. While growing up, I played football and wrestled in high school. I love photography and have also recently started to follow some professional esports, including SFV and Smash. I attended college for a year and am now preparing to serve a mission. I am dual majoring in Special Education and Physical Education and hope to be able to work as an adapted physical education teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I actually was baptized into the church in June of 2014. I was staying with extended family as my older brother had a college visit and my cousin told me that if I went to seminary (a scripture study class before school) with him, there would be free breakfast. I quickly took the offer, and ironically, the person in charge of bringing breakfast had forgotten to bring it. Although I didn't get breakfast, I enjoyed the seminary class and started attending regularly. After reading from the Book of Mormon and meeting with missionaries afterwards, I knew I needed to be baptized. Being able to be Mormon has changed my life, following His gospel has blessed me in so many ways and I have been able to see the blessings coming to my life from following it. I know that as long as I follow the commandments that our Heavenly Father has set for us, that not only I but everyone else who follows the commandments will continue to be blessed by him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day in and day out. Not a day passes where I am excited to be able to perform callings I have been given by the church. Not only am I soon leaving to serve a two year mission, but I also helped to plan activities for church members around my area. Being able to create activities that were exciting to other members and helped bring members of the church closer together. I also perform service for others whenever the opportunity arises.
