Hi I'm Jennifer Moore

I am a professor of psychology and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy teaching statistics and abnormal psychology. I also like to bake bread and research my lineage (genealogy).

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it is the true Church of God. I am able to receive personal revelations on how I should act in this life and hope to continue my knowledge while on Earth. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and I love him. I am trying to be a good person and love to help others understand the principles and doctrine of this Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through scripture study, temple attendance, visiting sisters in my ward (congregation), spending time with my family and helping others.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Jennifer Moore
We give 10% of what Heavenly Father has given us as an act of gratitude and humility. This is our way of acknowledging the blessings in our lives. This money is used to fund church buildings, temples, and other various items the Church needs to function. We have no paid clergy so this money does not go to our Bishop (preacher).
