Hi I'm Neina

I've been a US Air Force kid since I was two. I love to travel. I'm getting ready to serve a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I was in 8th grade, I've loved theater and choir. Performing has always been so much fun to me, but I really love being a backstage technician. I just feel like I have more fun back there. I also really love snorkeling and swimming in general. No, I've never been on a swimming team, but there's just something about being in the water that gives me a feeling of belonging. I love travel. I've been to almost all of the States (my family loves road-tripping) and I've been to Germany, France, and the surrounding countries. I also just so happen to be a HUGE geek. Ask me something about superhero movies, Star Wars, Harry Potter, or just about anything else and I'll have a pretty good conversation with you.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my entire life and plan on being staying a member until I depart this world. I sometimes think of what it would be like if I decided to leave the church and denounce my faith, but I always get this great feeling of sadness and pain. Some people talk about these huge momentous occasions that increased their faith to the point of bursting, but that's not how it's been for me. My faith has increased not because of some huge Eureka moment, but by the small and simple things. These things include reading my scriptures diligently and learning more about them, praying and receiving answers to prayers, listening to the words of inspired church leaders, and attending my church meetings and classes regularly. My faith has increased so much over time as I've strived to earnestly live the gospel and stick to the things I know are true. My advice to any investigators or people who are even thinking about investigating the church is to see that thought through and meet with the missionaries. Why am I a Mormon? Because this church is the true church. It teaches plain and simple truths that are easy to understand and embrace. It takes you as you are and helps you become more than you ever thought you would be. The gospel turns good people into incredible people and gives hope to those who think they are lost causes. This church is a church of love and kindness and invites all to hear and understand.

How I live my faith

Currently I am serving as a ward missionary, which means that I help the missionaries with whatever they may need and visit members and non-member investigators. I am also the chorister for my third hour class on Sundays so I choose the music and lead it. My mom and I are visiting teaching companions so we go visit the sisters we know who need a little extra help or just need to talk. On occasion I will teach a class on Sunday when the teacher is unavailable, which is good for me because I love teaching. Because of my love of this church and teaching, I am also preparing to serve a full time mission. Basically, I love serving people and am more than willing to help anybody in need.
