Hi I'm James

I grew up in the United States of America. I am an Eagle Scout. I am a mormon

About Me

I always tried to do well in school and found that I was especially good at reading and language skills. I enjoy playing the violin and also playing baseball. I also like to camp, fish, and hike.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church. From an early age I was taught the stories of our Savior Jesus Christ and I have always known them to be true. I have seen what can be done with the power of His priesthood and I want to help others have their own experiences with it so that they too may know that this is the true church of Christ that has the restored priesthood power of our Lord and has prophets that receive revelation from God. I was fortunate to be taught these things all my life and now I want others to learn these things also so that they may feel the happiness that the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I go to church with my family. I help prepare the sacrament, I help teach lessons in my classes, and I contribute to discussions in those classes as well.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

We believe in the Bible because we know that it testifies of Jesus Christ, His teachings, and His divine calling as our Savior and Redeemer. Members of the church are many things, but one of the most prominent attributes that we have is that we are Christians. As such we accept the Bible as true scripture and adhere to its teachings.
