Hi I'm Maisie

I love sports and being outdoors. I am a Mormon, and I love it. I am currently serving as a missionary in the Norway Oslo mission!

About Me

I am a high school graduate aspiring to become a registered nurse. I love playing basketball and grew up playing. I love going camping, boating, and being outdoors. I have two sisters and two brothers, and we are all very close. I love spending time with my family, and you can almost always catch me with my nose in a book. I am serving as a missionary for 18 months in NORWAY! It has been absolutely amazing and I love this gospel with all of my heart! IT IS TRUE!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I absolutely love this gospel and I know that it is true. I know that God exists and that He loves every single one of His children. I have been raised in the church and it has always been a part of my life, but I didn't always want it to be. I was very rebellious when I was younger and I didn't live the way I was supposed to. I did some things I'm not proud of, and I can honestly tell you that I have never been more unhappy in my life than during that time. Once I decided I didn't like what I was doing and how it made me feel, I decided to change and became an entirely different person. I found happiness beyond my wildest dreams here as part of this church. I live the gospel and am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I have searched for and found the answers to my questions here. I know that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and my needs and He only wants me to be happy. That is why He gives me and the rest of His children commandments to follow, and that is why I follow them. I wouldn't trade anything in the world for my testimony and the pure peace and happiness that this gospel brings into my life. I have been in a bad place before and have tried to be happy according to the world's standards, but there is nothing that will ever compare to the bliss of being a part of this restored gospel.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, and I look forward to it every week. I was a pianist in my ward for quite a while in the primary with all the little kids. It was so much fun to see their smiling faces every week and enjoy their sweet testimonies. I spread the gospel each day with a 'companion' and it is such a wonderful thing. I love meeting new people and sharing this important message with them!
