Hi I'm Stetson Campbell

I've lived in Utah, North Dakota, and Hawaii. I love hunting and being in the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything in the outdoors. I'm a big time hunter and love exploring. My time in Hawaii has also given me some time to do surfing/bodyboarding. Me and my friends love jumping waterfalls on hot days after work. I've been raised in a hard working home and always have had a job to keep me busy. I've never lived in Idaho but have spent a large portion of my childhood their. I love working on the family farm that my grandpa has and enjoy helping him keep things going. I'm definitely not a cat person but dogs are my favorite. I plan on going to college for animal nutrition and being a nutritionist for farms after I get my PhD. I'm about to leave on my mission to Oaxaca Mexico and can't wait to be there!

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always fully believed the church was true. I went through a little rebellious stage and almost got to the point where I fought against the church. The reason I am a mormon is because of an elder that served in our branch. He helped me and my friend to both get our lives on track. I began to go on splits with them and participate in their work and service. I started to read the scriptures and surround myself with the influences of the gospel. Another elder told me to think of something I needed an answer to, pray about it, and then read until I found an answer. Within the first two chapters of first Nephi I had a very specific and direct answer to my question. This built my testimony of The Book of Mormon immensely and I continue to do this to this day. My best advice to anyone investigating or struggling with the church would be to do this with sincerity.

How I live my faith

I currently do not have a calling due to me leaving on a mission soon but I have 4 younger brothers that I need to set the example for. I try my best every day to help them to be a better person, and I try my best to make myself a better person. I've been in charge of the branch youth group for as long as I've lived here and still participate in the activities despite of my age. The youth are an essential part in Gods plan. They are the upcoming generation. The ones that are preparing to share the gospel. The choices they make at this age will affect the rest of their life, and that is why my branch president has put such a big focus on the youth groups. I enjoy serving others and seeing the happiness it brings to their life and pray that I will be able to leave some sort of impression in their lives.
