Hi I'm Emily

I'm an actress, artist, and optimist. I'm a Tennessee girl and I love the mountains. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived all over the United States, but always managed to make any place a home with the help of my loving parents and 3 younger siblings. I love theatre! I've appeared on every community or semi-professional stage in East Tennessee except three and even performed aboard a cruise ship in high school, along with a few small films. This might not be the path I pursue in the end, but since it's what I love I'm studying musical theatre. I'll be spending the nest 18 months serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Colorado Colorado Springs Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed enough to be born into the Church and raised in the gospel, so I didn't need to go through the entire process of finding the Church. But everyone has to go through the process of finding God for themselves. I did that gradually, as I grew up and stopped relying on my parents' knowledge, trying to learn for myself if the gospel was true. And let me tell you, prayers are answered! I know that our Heavenly Father listens to and cares about us. He loves us so much that He sent His only perfect Son to be sacrificed for our sins, and to save the world. This gospel mean everything to me. It allows me to be with my family forever, and for me to return to my Father in Heaven someday, and be perfected in Him. :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always trying to let my light shine. I'm a naturally very happy person, so I always try to bring a smile to others that I meet!! I've been able to see how much something as simple as trying to share the joy that Christ's gospel gives me with others can affect them. (Hint: IT'S AWESOME!!)
