Hi I'm Bret

I was born in Mesa, AZ and lived in Phoenix for most of my life. I moved to Oklahoma in 2014 and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Living in Oklahoma, there are a lot of great places to be in the outdoors. I really enjoy to camp, hike, and do other outdoor activities. I spend many weekends going down to the lake and camping out with my friends. I also enjoy playing baseball and basketball. I'll go down to my church building a few times a week and play basketball with my dad. Recently, I have been called to serve a mission to Pittsburgh, PA and I am leaving soon! After my mission, I will be attending BYU-I to study economics. While at BYU-I, I will spend my summers working at a Boy Scout Camp that my Uncle runs.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I was raised LDS by my parents who are both actively engaged at church. The testimony that I received is my own. I know independently from anyone else that the Church is true. I have been blessed to have many friends with the same faith. They help me stay focused and on the right path. Most of my testimony has been grown through my service in the Church. I have felt Christ-like love to those I serve. I love being able to serve people and love them like Christ would. I feel Christ's love for me and for the people that I am serving. This keeps me going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending church and participating in church service projects. I go out with my local missionaries and help them teach the gospel. Not only is my testimony strengthened from this experience, but also the people I visit.
