Hi I'm Marco Guirado

I'm Mexican, a traveler, outdoor enthusiast, son, friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Girl in picture is my sister haha. I've moved to 8 cities through out my life so far, and that dosen't count the times moving around the cities. With that I've had the chance to live in 3 countries, and I'm glad I did. I got to grow up with different cultures, traditions, customs, food, people, and much more. I have always been the type of person to go and do stuff outside, don't get me wrong I love technology, but doing stuff like sports, camping, outdoor activities are my favorite. You might hear some people talk about how music is the best thing that has happened to them, I really enjoy music, I've been teaching myself how to play the ukulele a little over a year, and its so fun!!! And don't get me started on food. Definitely one of the best things ever. I will attend college, after I serve a mission, which I'm preparing to go now.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, and when I was little I didn't really realize, or care about church, it was just a place we would go as a family. As I grew I started to realize that there is more, and then I was fascinated by the gospel. Also I've had personal revelation that this is the true church, and I love it so much.

How I live my faith

I believe that actions do more than words. So I live my faith by trying to be an example. I also do the typical church answers like read my scriptures, keep the sabbath day holy, go home teaching, I even go out in lessons with the missionaries, and helping others at all times.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Marco Guirado
Well to start off, the most common answer would be, we only have one body, so why not take care of it. You live in it, and will be there until your last days on these earth. Our Heavenly Father loved us so much that he gave us, a body just like his, so we should also respect it in every way possible. They are called temples, because thats where the spirit resides, inside the body, and when combined a soul is created. Show more Show less
