Hi I'm Kevin

Born in Guatemala, I was adopted exactly when I turned one. I was my high school's Band Council President. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music! I play the piano, tuba, and trumpet, and organ! I was band council president of my high school. I volunteered a lot with the organization Feed My Starving Children. Following my mission my intentions are to go to Utah State and major in Forensic Anthropology or just some type of forensic degree. I love watching movies and watch many of them either with family or friends. I worked at Arby's so I know the struggles of fast food and I worked a lot in landscaping! I really enjoy camping and outdoor things. Running is cool and you can learn a lot from it and hiking is a fun thing to do in your down time.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe there is more to this life than just living experiencing what life has to offer and then passing on. "The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away" That quote from Plato is one of my favorites and I find this to be true with the gospel. This message that the church has is a "gift" It's messages and lessons that it contains is something that you'll learn to love. I believe in its teachings and know that through this gospel that we can find true happiness and learn how to become like our father in heaven.

How I live my faith

One way that I helped is by doing scouts! I earned my Eagle scout and with that includes a lot of volunteering and other fun projects. I was the "first assistant" to my ward leader and so I was in charge of the youth group that was in my age range. I home taught two families and passed out the sacrament to many in my elderly community. I would do a lot of yard work for those who needed it and at times would babysit the kids of those in my ward. I try to be an example for all those around me by being kind and accepting everyone for who they are. Everybody is different and we all have our own beliefs of the things in this world. I love and care about every single person and I do my best to ensure that everyone knows that I am there for them if I am needed.
