Hi I'm Chelice

I grew up in the Philippines. I moved to the United States when I was sixteen. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like learning about languages and cultures. Right now I am learning Mandarin and Korean. Since I am from the the Philippines I can also speak Hiligaynon and Tagalog. I went to college for two years, worked for a year and now I am called to serve in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a convert to the church. I was very lucky enough to grow up having the gospel in my life. I got baptized when I was eight and I was glad to have made that decision. Everywhere I go, the church is the same and the members always feel like family. I love the bond and community that we have and it comforts me to know that there are people always willing to help. The gospel had truly made an impact in my life and I don't even know where I'll be without it. Living the gospel has helped me make good decisions in my life however when I make poor choices I am grateful to have the Atonement to lead me back to the right path.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to obey the Lord's commandments. Following Christ's examples and trying to help in small and simple ways. I attend church every Sunday and was a teacher for children's Sunday school.
