Hi I'm Nathan Thomas

I grew up in Utah, I've always loved traveling and playing music. I was the music rep. for my school, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm the oldest of 5 children in my family, and as a family we go camping a lot. I've always loved fishing and hiking with my dad. My love for camping took me to work at scout camps in the desert and the mountains. Rock climbing and archery are my personal favorites. When I'm not off camping I'm either playing one of my many instruments, or hanging out with friends, and a lot of the time they both go hand in hand. But with music, I've been playing piano for 12 years, and saxophone for 7. Saxophone is my first love and I play every chance I get. With my friends we love going on random adventures up the mountains, traveling to the city, watching movies, or even playing video games. We also love going to concerts. I've been to two Panic! at the Disco concerts in the past year with some friends and we had so much fun meeting new people, watching our favorite artists, and trying to hear each other after the loud concerts. My family, friends, and music have always had a special place in my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon, but when I took the Book Of Mormon class in seminary, I really found my testimony of Jesus Christ. I saw the many ways he blessed the people and how grateful they were for him. So I read the Book Of Mormon for my self

How I live my faith

I've had a lot of leadership opportunities over the past few years. I've been deacons and teachers quorum president, 1st assistant to the bishop, and assistant weblows leader. In all of these positions I've helped planned activities, service projects, and other church responsibilities. I also had the chance to serve as the Seminary President for my high schools seminary program. I was in charge of putting together morningsides, where students would come listen to guest speakers, and have a breakfast before going to school. We also put together a year theme that encouraged the students to be better Christ-like examples, and to use their talents to strengthen them, as well as others around them. Doing all of these callings really helped me to be a better leader, as well as a servant to others. I've learned that the serving is the best form of leading and I've been able to see what I've done influence others lives and I want to continue being a Christ-like example for the rest of my life, and for the eternities.
