Hi I'm Aubrey

I was born in Arizona. I've moved around, living in Las Vegas, Tennessee, & Texas. I'm serving a Mormon Mission, July 17- Jan 19.

About Me

I am going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints in less than two months. I currently have two dogs and I love any type of pet or animal. After my mission I will be attending college. I love being involved with theatre, both the acting and technical side. I can play flute, french horn, and a bit of the piano, but I'm not a singer although I wish I was. I love people and staying involved with them. I can't ever seem to sit down in one place for too long because I love to go out on adventures and explore new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, and honestly, I absolutely love talking about my love of this. This church that I believe in is one that uplifts day by day. Through the teachings of the Book of Mormon I'm able to gain a greater knowledge of my purpose here and it helps me make decisions that I could've regretted without such a useful tool. The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints helps me understand my full potential and gives me an environment where I'm willing to try my best and press forward with all that I do. I'm extremely blessed that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and that I have this church as my rock and foundation to stand upon. I'm grateful for all the leaders that I have in the church, and for their unconditional love to help and serve others. For their willingness to always reach out with open arms, wanting to strength you and comfort you in your times of help. I love how caring and kind these people can be, and how its all done under volunteer and how they continually give away their time and efforts for those around them. Of course we are all not perfect, but the never ending will to do all this is just outstanding. Since I belong to this amazing and beautiful church family that stretches around the world, I'm able to find this happiness and peace that nothing else has given me. I know all the teachings that go on are true. I know that the prophet we have today is true and receives direct revelation from God. I know the Book Of Mormon to be true and is supposed to be here for us in this day to help guide us through all our pains and afflictions and trials. I believe this with all my heart.

How I live my faith

Currently, inside my ward, I am the chorister. I work with the pianist in help picking appropriate and spiritual uplifting hymns to sing each Sunday. I love to help those around me in supporting their events and help create and organize different activities that we participate in.
