Hi I'm Benjamin Vick

I'm from New Jersey, I build racecars, I'm a full time missionary, I'm a mormon

About Me

I am a full time missionary in the France Lyon Mission (so I basically teach people about Jesus Christ and the restored gospel). I was a collision repair major at Utah Valley University, and as you can imagine have a huge love for cars! In addition I work for my University building race cars, my favorite thing in the world. Recently, I sold my E36 BMW I spent a year and a half building in order to serve my mission. When I was not at the track I have a love for traveling and doing humanitarian work. I had the chance to serve the people of Cape Verde Africa, which was an amazing experience!

Why I am a Mormon

The LDS Church has blessed me in more ways then I can count. Recently when my mom passed away, knowing that families are forever has allowed me to find piece. I love this Gospel, and I truly believe that Christ died for us. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and importantly that because of Christ, we can be forgiven of our sins and mistakes. This way we can one day live with God and our family again.

How I live my faith

I work hard to live a lifestyle that is in line with what God has asked us to do. I believe that service is a huge key to being happy and as Mosiah 2:17 says "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your god." Growing up in New Jersey there are very few LDS people, so after becoming re-active in the church there was lots of help that could be done. I would help people move, help one of the older men with his yard, and go help the full time missionaries with there work.
