Hi I'm Drew

My name is Drew. I grew up in Oregon. I love to sing, play music, and be a nerd. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in the church and became a member on July 7, 2007. I have two loving parents that are both adult converts, and I have three amazing sisters. I love going outdoors and having a blast with my family and friends. Music is one of my passions, especially singing. I enjoy reading science fiction and historical novels. You might think me weird, but I love math, history, and Spider-Man. Another passion I have is my sport of rowing, which I started in middle school. For the future, in 2019, I will be going to college and majoring in biomedical bioinformatics. From then on I will see what path I take going forward.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church, so when I was younger it wasn't a pressing matter for me. However, when I grew older, my eyes widened a little more to see a broader perspective. I see now that I am in the church and am able to see the blessings that come with it. Because of the Gospel, I have gained knowledge and a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. I can see the eternal perspective, and with it, I know that my family and I can be together forever. I know the Book of Mormon to another testament of Jesus Christ. I am eternally grateful to be raised in the church, and to be in an environment that is filled with peace, love, and happiness that can only be created by the hand of God and the Holy Spirit.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be more like Christ and being the person He wants me to be. I do my duty in the church being part of the young men's group, where we set-up activities and serve the community. I am eager to answer, share, and explain any doctrine or information about the church with peers. I will always follow the advice the church leaders give to members of the church. I don't do these things because I have to, but because I know this is what Jesus asks of me.
