Hi I'm Amber Berrett

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I grew up in Orem Utah and am preparing to serve a mission.

About Me

I am the third oldest child in my family. I have two older brothers, and one younger sister. I love to sing and act, and participated in many different artistic programs in high school. I love to be in the mountains and hike whenever possible. I enjoy sharing my beliefs and am so excited to be able to serve a mission for 18 months in Missouri.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that lived according to the standards set by the Savior through his prophets and apostles here on Earth. From an early age, I knew I had to find out if this church was really the only true and living church on the face of the Earth and the God lives and loves me. I studied my scriptures and prayed very hard for what seemed like an eternity. I wondered why everyone had their own testimony but me. I soon came to realize that I did have a testimony, as small or insignificant as it may have seemed to me. My Savior knew of my struggle and taught me patience. Line upon line and precept upon precept, I began to see my faith grow and as I acted on the knowledge I received, I began to be converted unto the Lord. I wanted to follow Him and become like Him.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, but my faith is shown throughout the week through personal prayer and scripture study. I am currently a nursery leader and love love love interacting with choice spirits from our Heavenly Father. They teach me so much about the simplicity of our Savior's love for us.
