Hi I'm Lana Clark

I've been a convert to the LDS church for 50 years and it has brought great joy and blessings in my life.

About Me

I am a mother to five children and have 14 grandchildren. I live in a Danish tourist town in central Cakiforna about 120 miles north of Los Angeles. I am an estate and trust attorney and have an office in Solvang where I've lived for 45 years.

Why I am a Mormon

As a convert, I am a Mormon by choice. The doctrines of the church encourage strong family ties and members follow the teachings of Jesys Christ whom we accept as our Savior. Bring a member makes me want to improve and be a better person and it gives me a knowledge and belief that we can live eternally with our families.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week and teach a class each month to the sisters in Relief Society, the church's organization for women. I've had other opportunities to serve in the church by teaching classes to children and teenagers, and I've always found that I learn a great deal when I have the responsibility to teach others. I read scriptures every day and pray often to help get guidance on what decisions I should make. My life is content as the church and its teachings has grounded the raising of my children and has helped us to lead happier lives, free from alcohol and drug addiction, and learning how the teachings of Christ from the New Testament and Book of Mormon lead to greater eternal progression.
