Hi I'm Max

I was born in Salt Lake City and I currently live Idaho. I love to downhill ski and be outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up being in the outdoors and playing sports. My two favorite sports are football and lacrosse. In football, I played middle line backer all through high school and in lacrosse I was an attack. My absolute favorite thing to do is to ski. Skiing with friends is a way I release stress, anger, and all other negative feelings. I love the fresh air and being in nature with my friends doing the things we love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church to be true. There have been times in my life which have seemed very dull, sad, and often times hopeless. In these moments I turn to God in prayer and the Book of Mormon for help, comfort, and revelation. Every single time I have done so, the Lord has answered my questions; either through a scripture I read in the Book of Mormon, a friend that feels I need to be talked to, or an overwhelming feeling that God loves me. After having this divine help in my life, I cannot deny the truthfulness that lies within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I can only not deny it, but I can not imagine the difficulty of journeying through life without this wonderful light and guidance.

How I live my faith

I was recently the 1st assistant to the bishop in my ward. In this position I help the bishop organize the male youth in the ward. I planned all activities, lessons, and campouts and assigned members in our quorum different responsibilities. My ward is also in charge of a rest home for the weak and elderly. Every Sunday the young men prepare and administer the sacrament for the elderly and take it to their rooms if they are unable to attend the service.
