Hi I'm Taylor Ann

Southern belle by serotype but I'm not afraid to be active and adventure in the outdoors.

About Me

Adventure is out there, you just have to find it or find joy in the journey. I've traveled across America, admiring what makes us the United states and what gives sets us apart from each other. My hobbies take me all over the country. I've run half marathons in five different states and hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim. I'm a culture fanatic, I indulge in all cultural festivities and food. I was a chef my freshman year of college, which lead to the discovery of my passion in life- making people happy. I like food, other people like food, I like making people food to make them happy. I enjoy cooking, but I really want to be an event planner. Helping brides make their dreams reality. Cinderella once sang " A dream is a wish your heart makes."

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon by choice, even though I was born into an LDS family. I was simply going through the motions until I found myself in a bad situation. I felt alone, scared, unworthy, helpless and unloved. It was then, I actually took the time to read the entire Book of Mormon and apply it's teachings. Obeying the commandments, reading the scriptures, praying to my Father in heaven. . . it changed my life. I understood that I have a purpose. God has a plan for me, and He loves me. I am never alone and I can't sin more than God can forgive. I can always repent and try to be better. It isn't that I go as far as I can and Christ takes me the rest of the way, Christ IS the way. Because He died on the cross, my sins can be forgiven and I can return to the presence of God, in heaven.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day, 'by small and simple things are great things brought to pass." I smile at strangers, comfort those in need of comfort, and serve at every opportunity. I have been a Sunday school teacher for a year, starting in the sweet seven year old class with the basic principles of " God loves you" and " families are forever". Both beautiful concepts. Recently, I have started teaching the eighteen to twenty-two year old class. I also organize weekly youth activities and social gatherings so members of my congregation can learn about and love one another more effectively. I try to let my life be the proof of God love. Visiting the elderly, providing for the poor and however else the Lord can use me to bless the lives of those around me.
