Hi I'm Jonattan Alarcon-Benedetto

I am the son of political refugees, I am ambitionate, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm billingual. Like many others, I come from outside the USA. My family is from Guatemala and Honduras. I am grateful for the life I live. I have learned to synergize my Latin culture with the American culture I am immersed in. I am a student. My siblings and I are the first in our immediate family to attend a university in this country. I ultimately intend to become a patent attorney. I have a passion for physics, lifting, and cooking.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel

How I live my faith

I volunteer at local soup kitchens and food packing sites. Growing up, I attended service projects with friends and family, these experiences made serving a joy for me. Inside the church, I am a pianist and (as of recently) an organist. In our church, all service is donated. No one is paid. I learned to play the organ and became the ward organist. My favorite assignment so far has been being the pianist for the children's group.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?
