Hi I'm Allison

I am from Utah. I am a LDS missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in a family of five people. I am the middle of three girls. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them. I am currently a missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission. I grew up playing sports. I played soccer growing up. But in high school I played volleyball and basketball. Being outside is my favorite. If that be on a walk, going for a drive, or just sitting outside with someone talking about life I am all in. I was a college student at Salt Lake Community College. I love to take photos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. When I was in middle school I decided that I needed to either stop going to church or receive a testimony of my own. With the gospel I have found a peace that I can't find anywhere else. While praying, I felt like someone was there for me. Through Christ I have found His love and comfort. During hard times, He gave me the peace that I prayed for. For me, the gospel makes sense. There are so many things that this church believes in that I find amazing. One thing is called the Plan of Happiness. In short this means that families can be together forever! I love my family so much that I could not pass that up. I know this church is true and I have come to know that by praying. I know that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary in the Virginia Richmond Mission. Each day I try to a line my actions to what the Savior did. I want to be an example and be a change in peoples lives. I love this gospel and desire for other people to come to know that Jesus Christ loves and cares about each one of us. I want people to know that there is hope and that Christ is always there for them.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Mormon missionaries proselyte because they know the gospel is true. They know that through the gospel, everyone can find peace and happiness. Most missionaries themselves have found that the gospel has changed their lives and they want others to be changed as well. Show more Show less

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We need a Savior because we are all imperfect people. Jesus Christ suffered for everyone's pains, sicknesses, and sorrows. When Christ did this, it is called the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The Atonement of Jesus Christ covers so much of the daily sins and pains, we can use it during anytime of our lives. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can return to our Heavenly Father and live with Him and our families forever. Show more Show less
