Hi I'm Samantha

I moved to Virginia when I was ten. My favorite place to eat is Chipotle. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! Some of my favorite things to do are read, hang out with friends, and go camping. Collecting quotes is a HUGE hobby of mine. I am the oldest of seven kids and will be attending college next year after I get back from serving a mission. A couple things I do: lick the frosting off of cupcakes and then eat the bottom because that's the best part (duh), binge watch Netflix (Friends!), work at a craft store, sleep, and listen to music (preferably pop). Something that I would love to do that is on my bucket list is to go on a road trip with my friends for a weekend, I'm not sure where yet I just know I want to do it. A few of my fears include the dark, driving in pouring rain, and loosing myself. One last thought that I would like to share is that I LOVE my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I want to be. I don't know where I would be without this gospel. Something I love about this church is the sense of community. It is made up of a lot of different people with different backgrounds and ethnicity's. No matter where you turn, there will always be someone there. My favorite thing about the church is that we are never alone. No matter what we do or what happens, Christ will ALWAYS be there for us with open arms. He is there to comfort us, teach us, protect us, and to love us. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us SO much that they would do anything for us, I mean, Christ died on the cross for us.

How I live my faith

A couple things I do in my church are I go to church every Sunday, I don't work on Sundays, and I participate in youth activities every Wednesday and sometimes on Saturdays when we have them. We do a TON of different things with the youth from making recipe books to making freezer meals for a family who just had a baby. I've learned different things from all our activities such as integrity anthe importance of being prepared, I do my best to read my scriptures daily and have complete faith in them.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that the family is central to God's plan and it is an important unit of society, we are here to be a part of families. A home is where the family is; everyone in one supports, loves, and believes in each other. We are there for each other in difficult times and encourage each other to do our best. Show more Show less
