Hi I'm Joelle

I grew up in Utah. I love all people and animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have loved animals my entire life. When I was younger I always wanted to be a vet. Now that I am older, I have decided to go into the field of psychology and help people. I have finished a year of college and will be serving a mission in Spain. I absolutely love adventure and travel. I did a humanitarian trip in Nicaragua and absolutely love the people there. I enjoy playing the guitar and painting. I played soccer when I was younger and played lacrosse throughout high school. I love to go running with my dad and I can always count on my mom to talk. I am very close with my family and am very protective over my younger sister.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because I know that this church is true without a doubt. I get a feeling that I don't get anywhere else and living the way I do makes me happy beyond measure. I love my family so much and I am grateful for the knowledge that I can be with them forever. If anyone were to convince me this church isn't true, which wouldn't happen, I still wouldn't regret the way I live my life. This gospel has given me direction and through it, I have found immense joy. Even in pain and suffering I see that light that gives me hope and I feel loved beyond compare. I wouldn't give this life up for the world.

How I live my faith

In the past, I have been first counselor in all young women classes. Young womens is the girls' youth group in the LDS church that is divided by age into three different classes. I was also on seminary council my senior year of high school. Seminary is a class that high-schoolers are able to take during school that teaches the doctrines of Christ from the LDS perspective. Seminary council is a group of seniors that are enrolled in seminary and are called to the council. The council plans out all the different activities and functions that relate to seminary. They encourage students to participate in seminary activities and do their best to make everyone feel accepted and wanted. I absolutely loved being part of the council and taking part in organizing activities and helping the students. For my next call, I will be leaving to serve an LDS mission. I have been called to serve the people of Barcelona, Spain and can't wait to teach these people and share the love that I have for them.
