Hi I'm Ann Okine

I am a grandmother and great grandmother. Family is very important to me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I are preparing to serve a mission in California. We are retired and want to share the goodness of the gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Mormon way of life. It brings me great happiness. The basic concept of brotherly love and the attributes of positive faith and hope which the Mormon Church supports makes life so much easier and productive.

How I live my faith

I have been involved with both the young women and the mature women of our church in meeting the needs of those who could use a little extra help. Visiting, encouraging, providing transportation for medical help and teaching basic life skills have been part of this. This activity has brought many wonderful associations into my life and helped me learned to love both the people involved and my Heavenly Father.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Ann Okine
For me the Church of Jesus Christ means finding the truth that is not going to change. The concept of an eternal existence with family at the core is an important part of this truth. Show more Show less
