Hi I'm Myles

I grew up in Salt Lake City Utah. I am a composition pianist and water polo athlete. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love the piano. It is by far my favorite pass time. I have been playing the piano since 2005 and I love it. My other hobbies include anything outdoors, gardening, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, and spending time doing anything appropriate with my loved ones. I am a missionary (from September of 2017 to August 2019.) I plan on going to college to become a surgeon when I return and to be married in the temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Mormon church, but I didn't chose to be a Mormon until I truly understood what it was meant to be. As a young kid, in kindergarten, was when I first experienced a priesthood blessing and that thought has pushed me and carried me along my life to be who I am today. I was shot by a pellet/air-soft gun by my best friend and it made me go blind in one eye for approx. three months. These months were devastating and put me in a hard state of depression. But one night, my father and my Bishop came and gave me a blessing through the priesthood. When I woke up the next morning, I could see out of my eye once again. I have never forgotten that feeling and every day that thought keeps me and pushes to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I love going home teaching and spending time with those in and out of my ward. Whenever I have a class during my worship hours, I study and make notes on what the speaker is talking about so that I can use their knowledge on my future teachings which I use quite often! I also play the piano for the children whenever needed or just for fun to see their smiles and the joy they give out. I love the light that spiritual music can bring to the eyes of children, or people in general.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

The Book of Mormon is another witness that Jesus Christ really lived, that He was and is God’s Son. It contains the writings of ancient prophets. The Book of Mormon concludes with a great promise that those who read it and sincerely pray about it can know by the Holy Ghost that it is true (Moroni 10:4). Show more Show less
