Hi I'm Frehya

I was born in Nebraska. I'm an Army Brat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading. Anything from Sci-Fi and Fantasy to Mystery and Romance. I also love watching Sci-fi movies and TV shows such as Star Wars, Star Trek, and Doctor Who. I'm fascinated with history and cultures around the world. I also love languages. I have studied Spanish for 4 years in school, German for 1 year in school and have been self teaching French for a year although I am far from conversational in all three languages. Now I am learning how to speak and share the gospel in Tagalog. I love to sing and don't get to do it nearly often enough.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the feeling that I get when I go to church and help people. I love to learn about my Heavenly Father and His plan for me and I know that He loves me more than I can imagine. I am a Mormon because I get more peace from attending my meetings and the sense of love is overwhelming. In my youth I learned that the people you meet care for you as if you were their own family. Family is a big part of it as well. The opportunity to be able to return to them is something that I hold near and dear to my heart. This church is a huge family and it helps you get through the tough times. It is a huge part of my life and I wouldn't change that for the world.

How I live my faith

Most recently I have been very active in helping others learn about their family history. Family history has always been a big part of my life and I absolutely love helping others learn about their pasts. I also have recently been teaching the 3 year olds in Sunday school. I teach them everything from Adam and Eve to what Easter is all about. I am also getting ready to go on a Mission for 18 months to teach others about the gospel. What I love about my callings is that I get to teach other people and learn from their experiences.
