Hi I'm Katelyn Simonsen

I grew up in Utah. I love the outdoors. I'm studying to become a nurse someday. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love the outdoors and getting my hands dirty. Camping, hiking, and fishing with my family are some of my favorite things to do. I also love building things with my hands whether it's a drawing or a sand castle, I love art. Stuying to become a nurse at college is the mountain I've been tackling but I'm learning to really love it. My family is my number one priority. I am the oldest of three sisters with two loving parents that I love more than I can say. Even though life is hard, I am very happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church. It has been a blessing in my life but it wasn't easy. I knew my parents and many of my neighbors knew that this church was true but I needed to know that for myself. I needed a testimony. I don't remember there being one defining moment when I knew the church was true. Instead it happened over time, step by step, act by act. I had little faith but as I kept learning and participating in this gospel my faith grew and it is still growing. I am a Mormon because I love God and this gospel that I know to be true makes me happier than I thought possible.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by preparing to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have gained a testimony of this church and know it to be true. Now it is my turn to help others find out for themselves.
