Hi I'm Anna

I'm a Latter-Day Saint, the sister to nine children, daughter to two hard-working parents, and missionary candidate.

About Me

I'm an animation student studying with the hopes and ambitions to become a show creator. I love to draw, design characters, create and map out worlds and cultures, and working with elements such as framing, lighting, angle, etc for directing. I'm currently taking time off of school to prepare to serve a full-time mission, as has been my dream for some many months. As for things that interest me, I find working with self-improvement and understanding to be most intriguing and very rewarding.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon, but I never connected with it throughout my youth. I felt burdened by the task of church attendance and assignments, and I drifted away as much as I could. I began to feel alone and search my soul for what things really mattered to me. Through continued reflection, I came to recognize that I wanted to know what was true and what things I could put my trust in. I began with what little I could say that I did know, such as that God lived, and built upon that. I reached out in prayer, and God granted me the spiritual nutrition and enrichment that I needed to build myself up. I found more and more that I agreed and believed in the same things that the Church taught, and so I resolved to stay in Church. Perhaps I should be more grateful for my past self for doing that, for she made me who I am today and I could not imagine being happier. The Church and its members have always been there for me when my own means have failed to lift me, especially in times of serious depression. I love being a Mormon, and I desire to share the sweet truths of the Gospel with as many as will hear it, and even those who won't.

How I live my faith

Currently, I serve as a Primary teacher for my CTR 4 class. I'm new to my ward, so I have yet to be called as a visiting teacher, but I'm more than ready to have an assignment in that regard. I love to just help out those that I can, and the idea of having a set list to assist and teach thrills me. I've loved my previous assignments in my former wards as a visiting teacher, but that's about it my life right now.
