Hi I'm Braden

I play the piano. I have been involved in theater and choir. I love to compose and create my own music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was 8, my mom got me started on piano lessons. By the time I was 11 I was really starting to enjoy the piano, and by 13 I stopped taking piano lessons and continued to learn music, and even started composing. Now, playing the piano (along with the guitar and ukulele), singing and performing on stage is what most of my friends know me for. I am a senior in high school. I will be serving a 2 year mission for the church in Guatemala. After that, I'll be attending BYU to pursue civil engineering. I've always dreamed of building my own house for my family. And I hope to continue creating music and performing it. I am very, very excited for the years to come!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the Gospel has been restored and that it applies to my own life just as much as it does to others' lives. Because of this Gospel, I have the greatest assurance that I can come to Jesus Christ and develop a relationship with Him and my Father in Heaven while I am here, and eventually meet with them again. I know that Heavenly Father's grace is real and present in my life, and that I cannot live without it. I am thankful for the guidance of the Spirit. I am forever grateful for the Priesthood and for modern revelation. I know that Heavenly Father still speaks to us today. I relish the joy that I experience when I am coming closer to God through faith and repentance. I know that the Atonement, which Jesus Christ has fulfilled through His suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross, makes it possible for all men to have said joy. I want to experience that joy forever, and I hope to be able to share that joy with as many people as I can.

How I live my faith

I enjoy writing posts and writing in my journal about thoughts that I have as I read my scriptures. I magnify my callings as a priest quorum assistant, choir pianist and ward organist. I am currently preparing to serve a 2-year mission in the Guatemala Guatemala City East mission, Spanish speaking.
