Hi I'm Koby

I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I grew up in a large family, a family of 9. I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters. I am number 4 of 9. One of my brothers past away at 3 months old so this was something that really changed my families lives. I am 19 years old. I graduated from high school in 2016 and then I started working a full time job in a truck mechanic shop and I also went to college for 1 year. I am hoping to someday start my own business so I am studying business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Although that plan could change throughout the duration of my mission. I am currently serving my mission in the California San Diego Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born into the gospel and chose to be baptized at the age of 8, but that is only part of it. I am a member of this church because I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and part of the plan is to see my loved ones again after they pass away. Another reason I am Mormon is best this gospel brings so much peace and joy into my life. It helps me to know that Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father know me by name and they are always there for me. I can communicate with them anytime I need someone to talk to. Also I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be forgiven of my sins and I can receive eternal life in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to all around me and by attending all of my church activities. I meet new people everyday so I know a lot of people see how I act and how I speak. Working in a shop the language heard there is not always the best so I would strive each day to set an example for my coworkers. Another way I live this gospel is by serving the people around me. This world is not the best place so there will always be opportunities to help others just as Jesus Christ did.
