Hi I'm Jackson Crockett

I grew up while my dad was in the U.S Air Force. I love American football, I'm and Eagle Scout. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Jackson. I grew up all over the United States since my dad is in the Air Force and have lived in five states. I just graduated high school with honors. I played American football for six years and started for my high school varsity team for the last two. I love all kinds of sports and athletic events and grew up with a major love of baseball and the Olympics. I am also a musician and love music. I mainly play bass and guitar but have played the trombone and tuba as well. My favorite bands are definitely Muse and Metallica but I listen to all kinds of music. I also really enjoy playing video games. My all time favorite game is Skyrim but I also love to play Rainbow Six Siege with my friends and many other games. I have been blessed to have been born into the church and cannot wait to spread this Gospel to those who were not born into the faith as I am preparing to serve a full-time mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this is the only church on earth with all the truth. I am a Mormon because I have felt His spirit and His love for me as I strive to keep His commandments and to live worthily. My testimony has been built up slowly my whole life and has grown to where I no longer need to rely on anyone else's testimony. I know this church is true because I have seen the miracles and happiness it brings not only to me, but to those around me. I feel Christ's love for me and know that He has a plan for me and want nothing more than to make Him and my Heavenly Father proud and going and doing what I must do in order to live with them again.

How I live my faith

I was the only member in my graduating class of 500 students at my high school and the only member on the football team so I was always being watched but I was blessed to have wonderful friends who supported me and my beliefs and helped me stay on track even if they didn't necessarily believe how I did. I served as the First Assistant in my class and was able to help less active members come back to church and to make them feel welcome.
