Hi I'm Sam

I'm many things, but I'm most proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending Brigham Young University after completing a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Finland. My dad is a children's cancer doctor, and my mom teaches experiential education at BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have found myself in this church. I've found a purpose for my life! While I don't know everything about everything, I know enough to be happy and content with my existence. The Church helps me through my life like nothing else can.

How I live my faith

I play the organ for my church, I give blood, and I teach teenagers how to become better leaders over the summer. Most importantly, I seek to constantly be an emissary of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Redeemer! One of the ways I do is by serving as a missionary. I was called to serve in Helsinki Finland, learning one of the toughest languages there is, but as I've dedicated myself to seeking to best relay knowledge of the true gospel to the Finnish people by learning their language, I've found it gets easier and easier!
