Hi I'm Nervs

I grew up in the Philippines. I am a Lifelong learner. I love reading fiction novels. I am a Mormon

About Me

Being a born in covenant child (a Mormon since birth) I experienced a lot of difficulties early in my life, like being betrayed by my precious friends and feeling of being different from others. I later realized these experiences gave me so much realization and lesson. I was betrayed by my friends because Heavenly Father wants me to learn how to forgive, how do I deal with other people and how important the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I felt being different from others because I live the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have a goodly parents, and most of all I am a child of God that I am peculiar and I know the standards of our Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true that it is a restored church through Prophet Joseph Smith, I know that Heavenly Father loves us, His children, that He calls prophets to guide us until today. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, it is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus is the Christ and He lives, He conquered death for us, He is our Lord and Redeemer.

How I live my faith

When I turned 12 years old, I became the president of the Deacon's quorum and I am able to help my co-young men to do our duties as a priesthood holder. When I turned 14 years old, I became the first counselor of the Teacher's quorum and I was able to strengthen our quorum to become worthy always to prepare and pass the sacrament. And When I turned 16, I became the second counselor of the Priest's quorum, being able to complete my Fulfilling My Duty to God booklet, I strive to inspire young men to also have the desire to continue completing the activities and projects contains the booklet. Now, I am about to serve my mission and I am called to the marvelous work of the Lord.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

We are given the opportunity to live here on earth to experience happiness and loneliness, trials and challenges. We are sent here on earth to exercise and to test our faith in our Father in Heaven. We are here on earth to have a family. And the most important reason why we are here on earth is in order to grow and to become like our Father in Heaven. Show more Show less
