Hi I'm Rielly Knight

I was raised in Provo Utah. I am the second of eight children. I love the gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University-Idaho. And I am majoring in Elementary Education. I love working with kids and helping them learn and understand new concepts. I love to dance. I did classical ballet for 14 years. I love to scuba dive with my family. I also love to go to the beach and wakeboard and wake surf.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always had a testimony of the church, but the past couple of years it has strengthened so much. I have been able to us my strength and knowledge to help the people I love. I was able to become a source of light and hope for friends that were struggling. I loved that people looked up to me and could rely on my testimony when they didn't have one. Being a Mormon is easy. It is mostly just being a good person. The guidelines we are given are only there to protect us. I love the structure it brings my life, as well as the community and second family it gives me. When I moved away from home I was automatically welcomed into my new ward and given that sense of family through my leaders and other ward members. I love that no matter where you go that will always be the same. The church is the same no matter where you go. It is always something familiar for you to rely on. The church is also a beacon of hope. It lets you see the light through the darkest times in your life. Everything points to the light. It keeps you safe and happy. The whole point of the church is for us to be happy.

How I live my faith

While I was living in Idaho going to school, I was called as the ward activities chair. It was fun to be able to plan fun activities for the other members of my ward. It also gave me the ability to serve and be aware of the needs of peers. I was also able to be a teacher for the 5-year-olds at home. It was fun to be able to teach them every Sunday and see them begin to understand how the church can bless their lives.
