Hi I'm Curtis

I am a musician, I grew up in the country side with farm animals, I love sports like wrestling and track+field and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full blooded wrestler just like my dad and grandpa before me. I love it because it has taught me hard work and how I and rewarded for it. I love music because it calms me and I can put all my feeling into the sounds that I produce. Some of my favorite things to do are spend to spend time in the outdoors with my family fishing, camping, swimming and boating.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church but that is not what makes me a Mormon. I had to be converted just as my grandfather did, even if the process of the conversions were different. I did not know that this gospel was true in the blink of an eye; no it took time. It came so quietly that I did not even realize it until I was asked if I really believed that this gospel is true. I continue to live the gospel because it inspires me to be the best I can be then helps me become better.

How I live my faith

During the summer my old band teacher puts on a band camp for incoming freshmen and all middle school students who wish to come. I go and help out because I want to convey my love of music to them and show them how much fun music can be. During the winter I meet up with a group of young men and we go out to the elderly in our church and shovel their driveways and whatever else they need done.
