Hi I'm Sami McArthur

I am from Southern Utah, I lived in Kentucky for 5 years, and now I attend school at BYU. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Growing up in Southern Utah and having very active parents, I learned to love hiking, biking, water tubing, camping, and skiing. I spent my high school years in Kentucky, and moved back to Utah with my family my senior year of high school. I now attend school at Brigham Young University, and I LOVE IT!! I studying Photography and Journalism and am currently about to leave to serve as a missionary in Colorado Springs, Colorado!

Why I am a Mormon

Nothing has ever made me feel the way I do when I am learning about the teachings found through the LDS church. Everything I have been taught connects together so well and makes so much sense to me. Through small, simple, yet sacred spiritual experience I have gained my own testimony of the Mormon Church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in everything I do. At BYU I am a part of our Y-Serve club and participate with Adopt-a-Grandparent. If you ever need a great bingo caller, I got you. I also serve as an ordinance worker in the St George LDS Temple. But, living my faith is much more to me than organization I serve with, or my responsibilities at church. I try to be kind, honest, and reliable, when making plans with friends, while working on class assignments, or even just when talking to the cashier.
