Hi I'm Breanna

I was born and raised in California. I'm a writer, a holistic health enthusiast, and a Mormon!

About Me

I'm a California girl who doesn't care too much about the beach. I'm a child of divorce who, through the Savior's love, has overcome that heartbreak and found great joy in my life and enjoy beautiful relationships with my parents and siblings. I love to explore fun local places with my family, cook organic food, and study physics. I love writing and anything artsy, and have helped run several home businesses.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was fourteen, a pair of missionaries knocked on my front door and completely changed my life. Everything they spoke rang true to my soul. They taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ; That I have a Father in heaven who loves me, that Jesus Christ knows me by name, that following Him leads to great joy and miracles, and that I could live with my family forever. At fourteen, I had only faith in my heart that these things were true. But as I grew and went to church and lived the Gospel, I saw miracles happen, and I felt joy immeasurable, indescribable. I'm a Mormon because Jesus Christ is my everything, and there are so many rich blessings available through His restored Gospel that is found in this church.

How I live my faith

I pray constantly – morning, night, and throughout the day I pray in my heart. I study my scriptures with highlighters and write down my thoughts. I go to church every Sunday, I love gathering with other followers of Jesus Christ. I am strengthened by their testimonies. Sometimes I teach a lesson, and sometimes I sit in on a lesson. But I always learn something new. At home I strive to speak lovingly to my family, to speak words of encouragement. We discuss the Gospel and are inspired by one another's thoughts and perspectives. I love living out my faith this way.
