Hi I'm Karen

I grew up in Southern Idaho. My father was a farmer and rancher. I love life and enjoy being with people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 1 of 9 children with 6 of us left. I grew up in southern Idaho and lived in British Columbia for about a year with the family until we had to move back to Idaho so mom could have open heart surgery. Being a farmer and rancher's daughter, I enjoyed working with my father doing and learning all of the work that is required for that life style. I also enjoyed learning and working with my mother. I took piano lessons, learned how to lead music and singing and leading choirs. I enjoy reading, helping others, sewing and doing lots of activities, and playing games. I love life, am generally a happy person, and enjoy being around people. I went to college for 1 semester. I got married. And after a few years we adopted 2 boys. Then 10 years after we adopted I had a girl. I love my children and grand children so very much. Very grateful for them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be. It is a way of life. I love my Heavenly Father and my Elder Brother Jesus Christ with every fiber of my being. I want to return to live with Them when my life on earth is finished.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is who I am and what I am. I love attending my church meetings and having the opportunity of giving service to others. I love the standards, principles and teachings of my church and try my best to be like Jesus Christ and what he taught. I have chosen to live this life and I am a better child of God for doing so.
