Hi I'm Jenna!

I'm studying to be a Dietitan! I love dance! I've done pageants! I LOVE cinnamon rolls, chandeliers & my family & I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have grown up in Utah County, Utah but for the last year have lived away from home attending a University! I love music especially the oldies. I have danced since I was little and ballet is my favorite and I was on the dance team in High School. I love my family and they are my best friends. I love hiking boating and snowskiing and waterskiing! I also had the opportunity to participate in a pageant and represent and serve my community as in 2015 and particpate in the Miss Utah pageant. At school I have begun my studies so that I can become a registered dietitian and help others live healthy happy lives (but I also really love cinnamon rolls)! Another way I want to help others is by sharing the light I have found from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have chosen to serve a mission and have been called to serve in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have been raised in the gospel, I have had to learn for myself the truth of this doctrine. I have found that through prayer and scripture study I am blessed with a light in my face and in my eyes and clarity of mind and an increase in energy to face the challenges of life. There are countless times that I have read scriptures that give me the guidance I need to make a decision or to gain strength. The promptings and comfort I feel from praying to my Father in Heaven help me recognize His work for me and my potential and how I can be an instrument in His hands to help His other children. Each week as I attend our worship services, I have the opportunity to partake of the sacrament and remember our Savior's sacrifice for us. If I have truly repented of my mistakes, I feel a beautiful cleansing and am filled with the enabling power of Christ to keep striving to improve. I am so grateful for the joy that comes from work in our temples so that we can be with our loved ones forever. When I am more aware of my Father in Heaven I also have more gratitude for all the blessings in life and am filled with joy in recognizing the good. The relationships and spirit of service that exists in the organziation of the Church is wonderful and has helped me become the person I am. I know that God is aware of our potential of what we can become and Christ's loving sacrifice allows us to work towards the best version of ourselves. I hope that all of his children can find this love and joy and the light it brings. I am a Mormon because it gives me light.

How I live my faith

There are many different ways I strive to live my faith. I have helped as a youth leader many times helping my fellow young women and doing my best to plan activities to help them form friendships, strengthen their faith and serve others. I have also participated in callings regarding family hisotry work and connecting with my ancestors. I also try to live my faith through little actions every day such as helping my parents and silbings, reaching out to a friend who is in need and striving to love others as Christ does.
