Hi I'm Elennah Allgaier

I am from Utah. I studied at Utah State University for a year. I am now preparing to leave on my mission to Florida. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and I am attending Utah State University. I am studying Elementry/Special Education. I love working with those who have special needs. They help me to be patient, loving, and kind. I adore that they are so forgiving and non-judgmental. They are true angels here on earth. I also love music. I have been in school chorus for 10 years and have loved every second of it. Not only did I love singing beautiful pieces from different era's but I loved singing songs that helped me to express my faith. That is the best way I know to explain my love for this gospel. I haven't always had such a love for the gospel. It came with hard and dedicated work. Even though it wasn't easy, I would do it all over again and again if given the chance.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church in Utah. That being said, I wasn't the strongest member of the church for a very long time. I just went through the motions and didn't really invest myself into it. I lived like that for about 15 years. It wasn't until I received direct instruction from God that I was to serve a mission that I focused on the gospel. I went from not really believing or caring to loving this gospel with every fiber of my being. I cannot believe I ever went without this love and knowledge of the gospel. I can say with a full heart, that I know that this gospel is true and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and He did come and He will come again. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and that it is the word of God. I love reading form it and learning more about myself and my Heavenly Father. It is such an amazing and true religion.

How I live my faith

I have had many different callings in the church and they have all been so beneficial to me. I have been class president for various classes in the Young Women program, as well as other positions. I was a teacher for the 8 year olds in the ward. I was also a service leader in my student ward at university. I have loved all of my callings differently but I especially loved teaching the children. I loved being able to renew my faith in the basics of the gospel. They were always so eager to learn and to know about the gospel. It was such a great opportunity for me. I also loved being able to serve those in my ward up at university. It was a good chance for me to make new friends, and becoming closer to being more like my Savior.
