Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a Mormon Missionary, and I've dedicated 2 years of my life to the service of my God for the sole purpose of sharing the Gospel

About Me

I love reading, writing, and drawing. I enjoy spending time with my friends, and my family. I also like to play complicated board games. Also, I love making puns, and cracking jokes. I also love to take pictures on my camera.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I'm not Mormon because my parents are, or because it's how I was raised. I'm a Mormon because that's who I choose to be every day, to follow in the footsteps of Christ as best I can, to do my best to serve him faithfully and diligently. To feel of his love and forgiveness when I step a little too far from his shoes, I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and He lives. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve the Lord, every day I go out and proselyte (share the Gospel) I knock on doors, walk long distances, and do my best to have a smile on my face wherever I go. Missionary life isn't easy, but it is definitely rewarding! I read the Book of Mormon daily, studying the messages and finding how they can apply to me, and then I go out and find how those same messages can help uplift others.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Taylor
We are asked to pay tithing as a commandment from God, by sacrificing the 10%, we are putting our faith and trust in the Lord, it's like putting in 90% our effort, and letting him make the difference. Once we've made this sacrifice, we can receive blessings for it, our faith in him is rewarded, and many miracles can be wrought by this kind of faith and sacrifice. Show more Show less
